Reading University Information

The Bentham DM150 spectroradiometer monitoring spectral UV irradiance is located within the Reading University Atmospheric Observatory, in the grounds of Reading University Whiteknights campus. The area is largely parkland (open ground with mature trees further from the field site) within which are a number of moderate height buildings. Reading city centre is approximately 3km to the north, whilst London is 60km to the east. The Brewer spectrophotometer that monitors ozone is located 320m to the south of the Atmospheric Observatory, still within the campus grounds, on top of one of these buildings
