Fourth Daughter Directive - Reports on Measures

The EU Directive (2004/107/EC) sets target values for a number of metals and for benzo[a]pyrene. During 2013, 2014 and 2015 the UK exceeded target values for the two pollutants benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P) and nickel (Ni). Links to the Reports on Measures that are required by the Directive for 2013, 2014 and 2015 are provided in the navigation to the left. The reports provide detail on the assessment of these exceedances and the actions and measures that have already been taken or are planned that will help the UK meet these target values.
