Latest forecast

  • Today : Air pollution levels are likely to be Moderate for many southern and central parts of England, parts of Wales and perhaps the Central Belt of Scotland. This is due to the mainly fine and sunny weather and light winds. Otherwise Low levels are expected. However, increased air pollution levels are also likely in the vicinity of any significant wildfire, and downwind of their locations. These levels may be significantly higher than those indicated by the forecast maps.
  • Tomorrow : Air pollution levels will remain Low across much of the UK, with only isolated areas of Moderate likely for parts of western England and eastern Wales.
  • Outlook : Air pollution levels are expected to be mainly Low across the UK through the outlook period, with only localised pockets of Moderate levels possible for some parts of southern England
