However, increased air pollution levels are also likely in the vicinity of any significant wildfires, and downwind of their locations. These levels may be significantly higher than those indicated by the forecast maps.
• Tomorrow : Thursday areas of Moderate air pollution are expected across the south of the UK, mainly across England. Remaining areas of the UK will have Low levels of air pollution.
• Outlook : Moderate levels of air pollution are likely initially across much of southern England and parts of south Wales. Thereafter air pollution levels improve as fresher air spread across the UK.
