Defra website and new links to LAQM pages

Defra is updating all the core website pages including the air quality section to reflect the new Government's policies. The pages are currently hosted at ww2.defra.gov.uk (new site) and www.defra.gov.uk (old site). The local air quality management pages currently form part of the old site and listed below are some important changes that have now taken place:

  • LAQM homepage – new homepage address now at: http://laqm.defra.gov.uk
  • The following addresses will no longer be active: http://laqm1.defra.gov.uk and http://laqm2.defra.gov.uk
  • The LAQM Report Submission Website to be offline for up to a fortnight – local authorities will be kept informed.

In coming months the new Defra site will revert back to www.defra.gov.uk once all Departments have finished streamlining their sites.
