Air Pollution in the UK 2009, Edition A: UK's Annual Report to the Commission

The UK's annual air quality compliance report for 2009 is published by Defra and the Devolved Administrations today. This report summarises the UK's 2009 submission on air quality under Directives 2008/50/EC and 2004/107/EC to the EU Commission, presenting air quality modelling data and measurements from national air pollution monitoring networks. The submission and accompanying spreadsheet questionnaire can be found on the Commission's website: http://cdr.eionet.europa.eu/gb/eu/annualair

Edition B of the report will be published later this year, looking in more detail at other monitoring undertaken for research purposes and will include more detailed analysis of air pollution in the UK.
