UK-AIR now on Twitter

News published: 18/05/2012

We are pleased to announce the launch of an automated UK-AIR Twitter feed today. @DefraUKAIR will tweet summaries of UK air pollution forecasts and latest AURN measurements each day. This service has been developed with the aim of UK-AIR reaching out to a wider audience, especially with the forthcoming London Olympics in mind. The tweets will provide information on air pollution concentrations and inform the public about air pollution episodes. If a tweet warning of High pollution is published then a link to the online health advice will follow. Further details about the new service are on the UK-AIR website (uk-air.defra.gov.uk/twitter).
