Latest forecast

  • Today : A very warm to hot day is expected across much of the UK Friday, although increased cloud amounts may allow for the odd shower in the north or west. Despite this, air pollution levels are expected to remain widely Moderate. Low levels are expected to be largely limited to northern Scotland, along with some coastal areas with onshore breezes which could help dispersing any pollutants.
  • Tomorrow : Hot weather continues for many on Saturday, with further widespread Moderate levels, especially before any thundery outbreaks later. Fresher conditions are likely to bring Low levels into some western parts.
  • Outlook : Turning cooler with strengthening winds from the Atlantic, and periods of showers or rain alongside sunny spells. These will help to disperse pollutants, bringing widespread Low levels through this period.
