Air Quality Information Bulletin - 21 March 2015

News published: 21/03/2015

Low or moderate air pollution is now (21 March 2015) being measured across the UK.

Winds bringing in pollution from the continent, combined with locally generated pollution and still weather conditions led to some high measurements across the UK over the last few days. This has now improved and levels are currently moderate or low, and expected to clear today.

The forecast for the next few days is continued low air pollution.
The latest measurement summary on UK air shows the mean/average of pollution levels recorded over the last 24 hours. Raised measurements from yesterday are still included in this reading. The summary will return to low over the day as more recent readings replace earlier high measurements.
